Rishikesh

Rishikesh is around 250 kilometers away from Delhi and it takes around 5 hours to reach the place. Rishi kesh is an all-encompassing experience where you can enjoy everything that you can expect from a perfect place. Rishi kesh has everything for everyone that makes it a favorite destination for all. If you are someone into adventure activities and sports then Rishikesh has many options to do those activities like river rafting, cliff jumping, bungee jumping, and many more. You also try and enjoy camping on the banks of the river. The food in Rishikesh is amazing with many varieties of cuisine. There are some famous places that you must visit if you are going with your family like Ram Jhula and Laxmana Jhula, Beatles Ashram, where you can do photography. In the evening you can immerse into Ganga Aarthi and complete your weekend with a spiritual note. 

Neemrana Fort Palace

This is a 15th century fort Palace which is now converted into a hotel. It is 125 kilometers away from Delhi and takes 2 hours to reach. This Palace is a perfect weekend destination if you go along with your family. You can also visit this place in order to make a special occasion or celebrate the birthday or wedding parties. The best thing about the Palace is there are 76 rooms in it with a unique theme for every room. The cost of the room ranges from ₹6000-15000, which may be a little costlier but you should definitely go and enjoy it once for your royal stay. There are also many activities here like ziplining, camel rides, riding on royal heritage cars etc. There are also many attractions like hanging gardens, Neemrana Fort lighting in the evening, Rajasthani folk dance and the breathtaking views of Neemrana city from the fort. 

Jaipur City

This is a bit far away from Delhi that is 280 kilometers away and takes 5 hours to reach. But if you want something worth it you must put in efforts to get that, so Jaipur is the place which your efforts would be worth. The interesting thing about Jaipur City is that you can find places of all budgets that suit you. There are many places to explore in Jaipur but in 2 days of your weekend you can cover places like Amir Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal. In the evening you can go to Chokhi Dhani Resort, which is a Rajasthani authentic resort. You can also look out for a variety of games in that resort like Rajasthani folk dance which is called Kalbelia meaning Snake dance and puppet shows of Rajasthani tradition. You can end your evening with a nice delicious meal at the resort itself. Jaipur has some of the best options for shopping. Agra

If we want to explore the places on the weekend without visiting Agra then it cannot be a complete experience. It is around 200 kilometers away from Delhi and takes around 3 hours to reach. Agra is a world famous city especially the Taj Mahal of Agra is the most visited tourist destination spot. If you want to go to Taj Mahal the best time to visit is in the mornings where there is less footfall. Other than this, there is Agra fort, Mehtabad, which is a garden behind Taj Mahal. Pushkar

Pushkar is very famous for its temples and Ghats and is 400 kilometers away from Delhi and takes 7 hours to reach. The famous temple of the place is Lord Brahma temple, which is the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Pushkar is totally surrounded by Aravalli Hills where you can find all along Pushkar visit. You can also have a look at the Thar Desert with camel rides and jeep safari. You can also try some adventurous activities like hot air ballooning. 

Sariska Tiger Reserve 

It is around 230 kilometers away from Delhi and takes 5 hours of time to reach. The main attraction of this place is Jungle safari. There are two slots for a day, one in the morning and the other in the evening, which you can choose accordingly. There are many varieties of fauna like Tigers of course. Besides this, deers, crocodiles, hyena, peacocks etc are also found. There are also resorts nearby where you can stay and play many games along with your family.
