An all-new live musical event based on the original film, Trolls Live hits the road this fall to bring joy and happiness to fans across the country with the Trolls Live Musical Tour! The beloved characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls take center stage in this theatrical experience, including Poppy and Branch, along with all their Troll friends! This live show promises to be colorful, vibrant and fun for the whole family! In addition to all the favorite songs from the movie, brand new music will be added.
When does Trolls the musical start?
The Trolls Live Musical will hit theaters in 2022. The exact date has not yet been announced, but we do know that it will start on Feb 03, 2022 While it is likely to be near Easter, no dates have been released as of yet.
Is Trolls LIVE! based on the movie Trolls?
Yes, Trolls LIVE! will be based on DreamWorks Animation’s hit film and feature many of your favorite Troll friends like Poppy, Branch, DJ Suki and more. Although, in keeping with its live stage roots, there will be a few new faces joining in on all of the fun. It was recently announced that pop star Jason Derulo will lend his voice to Branch for select performances throughout 2018 and 2019. The first stop on Trolls LIVE!
Where will Trolls be touring?
Though an official tour hasn’t been announced, it looks like a North American run is likely. The cast of Trolls: The Live! has already performed at select venues across North America, including New York’s Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. It would be smart for Trolls to perform in those same areas when it returns.
What can I expect from the Trolls live show?
It’s great to see that Trolls Live Musical, which for a time had faded from pop culture, is back. And it’ll be even better to see them come alive on stage in a live show! Let’s take a look at what you can expect when they hit your town.
Will Anna and Elsa from Frozen appear in Trolls live?
It’s too early to tell, but here’s hoping. In case you missed it, Trolls 2 is on its way—set for a 2020 release—and will continue following the journey of Branch, Poppy and all their friends through hair-raising adventures! Given that Anna and Elsa are such popular characters in Frozen 2, would they appear in Trolls live? Probably not. But we can dream. It’d be cool if they made a cameo or two, though!

At what age do I need to purchase a ticket for my child?
Trolls Live! is a musical, therefore children under 5 years of age will not be permitted into the theater. You will need to purchase a ticket for anyone over 5 years of age. If you do not purchase a ticket for your child, they will be turned away at the door. Please contact our Box Office for more information about bringing children under 5 years of age.

If you’re a fan of Trolls, music, and a good time, it’s going to be nothing short of awesome.
