The world-famous brand Samsung TV is being made in the country now. The TV is manufactured at Fair Electronics factory in Shibpur Upazila of Narsingdi.
On Saturday, the newly constructed Samsung TV manufacturing plant was inaugurated at the Fair factory. Inaugurated by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Abu Hena. Rahmatul Munim.
Fair Electronics is a manufacturer and marketer of Samsung’s mobile phones, TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, and microwave ovens in Bangladesh.
Their factory will now produce Samsung TV, along with Samsung refrigerators and mobile phones.

Samsung has set a production target of 300,000 TVs a year. The factory will produce 32 to 65-inch televisions.
The 32,000 square-foot plant employs 100 workers. They built a Fair Electronics factory with the technical assistance of Samsung Electronics. The Fair Group has invested around Tk 1,000 crore in the factory, set up on about 32 acres of land. Displayed Video footage activities of the factory before the inauguration. Narsingdi Deputy Commissioner Syeda Farhana Kaunain, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Bangladesh Bomin Kim, Chairman of Fair Group Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, and others, were present on occasion.
Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, chairman of Fair Group, said the Samsung smart TV produced in their factories would play a role in the country’s digitalization, including digital classrooms.
They also have plans to earn foreign exchange through exports in the future. Fair Group officials said they built a factory with the technical assistance of Samsung Electronics.
The Fair Group has invested around Rs 1,000 crore in the factory, set up on about 32 acres of land.
Employment
The factory has so far employed 1,600 people. Of them, 1,200 work in mobile phone plants and 400 work in TV, fridge and air conditioning plants.

Price of Samsung TV
Samsung has announced the release of several models of TVs in the country’s market. In a statement, the company said that real Four would also be available on UltraHD (UHD) TVs and smart TVs.
According to Samsung sources, the 43NU 7100 model television set will be available at Rs 56,900 instead of Rs 8,900.
The 43NU6460 model is price at Rs 83,900 instead of Rs 72,900. The 49NU7100 model is price at Tk 8,000 instead of Tk 1,24,900.
The 900 and 50 NU 7460 models will be available at 95,900 rupees instead of 1 lakh 14,900 rupees.
The 55NU7100 model will be available at Tk 1,15,900 instead of Tk 1,44,900 and the 85NU6100 model TV will be available at Tk 1,99,900 instead of Tk 2,29,900.

Samsung has announced discounts on several models of the Samsung Smart TV with ‘One Remote.’ For example, the 32N4300 model smart TV will be available at 32,900 rupees instead of 36,900 rupees.
The 43N 5300 and 49N300 models will be available at Rs 53,900 and Rs 65,900 instead of Rs 56,900 and Rs 99,900, respectively.
Samsung is also releasing two models of ‘Samsung Concert’ TV. The 2N4100 and 43N5100 models will be available at Rs 26,900 and Rs 44,000 respectively instead of Rs 29,900 and Rs 48,900.
The two models of Samsung LED TV 32N4000 and 40N5000 will be available at a discount of Rs. Its current price is 24,900 and 36,900 rupees.
